How often do you do a fridge and freezer clean out?

I try to do a fridge and freezer clean out about once a month. And that involves taking everything out of the fridge, wiping everything down, taking every out of the freezer, vacuuming the crumbs, and putting everything back.

Why do I do this? So we don't waste food. When food is left in the back of the fridge or bottom of the freezer, it can go bad. Which is why I try to do this once a month. Move things to the front, keep leftovers at eye level, and other useful tips I break down!
